This year’s annual meeting will take place in Cagliari from 8th to 10th October 2024, hosted by Sara Carucci. For the first time, there will also be a community event for local and national clinicians and teachers on the 7th, prior to the main meeting. These are part of the EUNETHYDIS’ “local footprint” activities. In addition, the main meeting incorporates a symposium with local speakers and an Italian keynote. Prior to the main meeting, the EUNETHYDIS European Guidelines Group (EAGG) and early career researchers also hold their own sessions. We are also glad that three new special interest groups (SIGs) were submitted and accepted, and will be held in the morning of the 9th and 10th. Results from the SIGs will be presented at the end of the main meeting. The programme will also include a members’ meeting with awards and an international keynote, as well as two debates. Thanks to all members who submitted abstracts and contributed with ideas.

It was great to finally get to see each other again, whilst the local hosts provided an excellent meeting, including dinner in the castle, with the Welsh Government Deputy Minister for Health and Social Care, Julie Morgan. The theme of the meeting was around our conceptualisation of ADHD.

In 2020 and 2021, COVID meant that our annual meeting had to move online. Whilst the remote nature reduced the social activities, we continued to have stimulating meetings with a range of excellent speakers and poster presenters.
In 2020, included some thought provoking talks around the topic of stigma, including a Keynote from Professor Stephen Hinshaw on the subject.
For the online meeting in September 2021, we had keynote lectures on the topic of “Differential statistical approaches to modelling ADHD”. Other sessions included discussions of Schools and education, ADHD in young adults and camouflaging.
